The Jeep Wrangler comfortably seats four adults or two adults and three children. Although it has five seat belts, the back seat is a bit cramped for three adults. If your party is larger than this we recommend booking additional Jeeps for the trip.

No, we welcome all age groups from babies to seniors and everybody has a great time. For kids we can put together a visual scavenger hunt to search for along the way.

As little as 45 minutes from Denver, but the average time is an hour – depending where you are in the Denver area. Our meeting location is in Idaho Springs and then our trails begin 5 to 10 minutes from town.

No, you pack your own lunch and we will find a great place in a beautiful spot to have a picnic.

The sunset tour is the shortest and easiest tour that provides outstanding scenery and minimum technical driving. It is still off-roading and has real 4×4 driving but we take the easy route. The half-day tour is a three hour tour that covers a lot of terrain and provides a great Jeeping experience. Due to time limitations we just can’t get as far as a full-day tour, which really allows you to get away from the average crowds and explore high peaks, as well as great obstacles and technical driving. If you have a full Jeep of adults we recommend a full-day tour so everyone has a chance to drive a decent amount and get a great experience behind the wheel.

Yes you can! There is a training and guiding option where we are more focused on teaching you how to off-road with your jeep. We cover all the basics and give you a great foundation to build upon. This tour is considered a guided tour and it’s available on our booking page.

The booking price is per Jeep. It is the same cost if your party is 1 or 5.

We will pair your party with the perfect trail and guide for your experience level and desired trip.

Unfortunately, no. Our insurance won’t allow you to ride with our guide unless it is an emergency. Our goal is to pair you with the perfect trail, and give you the right instruction so you have the confidence to drive a real jeep on a real 4×4 trail. Driving is the fun part!

Each vehicle has a hand-held radio and the vehicles communicate between each other via these radios.

You the guest drives! Your party is alone in your own modified Jeep Wrangler. The guide is in a different Jeep in front.
